ÐßÐßÊÓƵ

Stephanie GauvinDEAR FUTURE ÐßÐßÊÓƵDENT,

My name is Stephanie Gauvin, and I am originally from Dieppe, N.B. I graduated from St. Thomas University, Class of 2022, with honours in Economics and a double minor in Anthropology and Spanish.

After ÐßÐßÊÓƵ, I completed a Master of Science in Public Policy at the University of Bristol and currently work for Hardisty & Jones in Bristol, UK, a local economic development consultancy.

I chose to study at ÐßÐßÊÓƵ because I wanted the flexibility to explore my interests. Without that flexibility, I wouldn’t have discovered my passion for economics.

ÐßÐßÊÓƵ prepared me for my future by:

  • Helping me develop rigorous academic and analytical skills
  • Helping me develop critical thinking skills
  • Encouraging me to be inquisitive

With French being my first language, starting at ÐßÐßÊÓƵ was a big adjustment. ÐßÐßÊÓƵ services like the Writing Centre helped me strengthen my skills, which enabled me to excel in my academic career both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

I’m proud to be a ÐßÐßÊÓƵ alumna. The quality of education I received enabled me to develop the academic tools required to further my studies and advance in my career.

Wishing you all the best,

Stephanie Gauvin
