The annual ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Santas campaign is officially underway. ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Santas is a program for St. Thomas University students who are parents with children (16 and under) who will experience financial need during Christmas and the holidays.

 

Through the support of faculty, staff, and ÐßÐßÊÓƵdent donations, ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Santas provides financial assistance and gifts to those admirable ÐßÐßÊÓƵdents who are balancing school, work, parenting, and often other challenges.

 

Last year, ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Santas supported 47 children in 24 families.

 

ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Santas has become known as a way for our ÐßÐßÊÓƵ community to demonstrate kindness and generosity. We hope we can count on you to make the holidays brighter for these remarkable ÐßÐßÊÓƵdents and their families.

 

Donations will be accepted until December 2nd. One hundred percent of your donation will go to our ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Santas families, and this gift is eligible for a charitable receipt for tax purposes.

 

Here's how to make a gift:

 

• Donate through our online donation page, www.stu.ca/stusantas.
• Donations will be accepted at the Advancement Office, 4th floor, McCain Hall.
• Jesse Tree gift option: Check out our Christmas Tree outside the Chapel in Holy Cross House. Ornaments are available, indicating gifts requested by ÐßÐßÊÓƵdent families. Take an ornament, buy the present, and place it, together with the ornament, back under the tree by December 4th.
